Permanent Chemical Straightening/Relaxing
Time taken:1-3 hours.
This treatment is usually called hair straightening. It is permanent and grows out. It is mostly recommended for clients with very curly, frizzy hair that is bulky and has a very uneven curl pattern. The chemical relaxer will reduce the bulk and elongate the curl (relax) allowing the client to blow Dry it bone straight or wear it with a smooth relaxed curl. This treatment requires you to retouch the new growth about three or four times a year.
- £45-65
Curly Perm (Afro)
Time taken: approximately 4 hours
A perm for curly hair (perm meaning permanent). This treatment is excellent for extremely curly, frizzy, fine, afro and mixed race hair. The treatment rearranges the curl pattern allowing the client to have the desired curl size that is easier to manage. This is a very low maintenance hair style.
- £60-75

Hair Conditioning Treatments
Time taken: 1 hour.
Protein Treatment: Most hair be it chemically treated or natural hair needs to be nourished and kept in good condition (able to reflect the light). The protein treatment does this. It is excellent on chemically treated hair. It confuses the hair with protein whilst strengthening the bonds, preventing breakage.
- Protein Treatment – £40
Steam/Moisture Treatment
Time taken:1 hour.
This is a must for all types of curly hair be it afro or European. Curly hair tends to be drier and finer than straight hair. The finer the strand, the less moisture it holds resulting in it becoming dry. The steam treatment is given with a deep conditioner. The warm steam infuses the fine hair and allows it to absorb more moisture which in turn keeps it hydrated.
- Deep Condition & Steam Treatment – £35-40
Braids with Extensions
Time taken: 5-6 hours.
These are very small plaits extended with hair extensions. It is very good for resting the hair from colour and chemical treatments. Being plaited it keeps the natural hair in very good condition as the hair’s own natural oils nourish the hair whilst it is being braided. Braids are kept in for 2-3 months and may be shampooed but not condition and not as regularly as natural hair (no more than once a fortnight whilst the braids are in).
- Braids with Extensions – £35-150
Hi Theresa,
Love my braids so much!
Theresa, has been my hairdresser since 2003, and is undoubtedly the best that ever I’ve had.
She’s an excellent and experienced stylist, and I wouldn’t let anyone else do my hair.
You go to see Theresa looking a mess, and leave transformed. She has magic fingers.
Her prices are reasonable too!
See you soon, take care.
Jen xx

Twist Full head
Time taken: 4-5 hours.
These are mainly done on afro hair and look very similar to dreadlocks but they are not permanent and can be undone, just like plaits. It also protects the hair and allows the natural oils to lubricate and nourish your natural hair. They can last up to three months and can also be shampooed but not conditioned whilst they are in.

Dread Locks Full head
Time taken: 5-6 hours.
These are very popular in young males and females. This treatment is permanent. The hair is dreaded and locked into a roll which is then fixed with beeswax. The longer the locks stay in, the longer and smoother they become. The only maintenance they need is to keep them waxed and separated. They would need to be tightened at the roots periodically. They should not be shampooed for the first four weeks, thereafter shampoo as per normal
- Dreadlocks Full head – £95
